Provence is one of the most popular places in France and all of Europe, and with a diverse offer of scenery ranging from snowy mountain peaks,aromatic and colourful lavender fields and a gorgeous beach at the heart of the famous French Riviera, it’s not difficult to understand why.Provence is basked in sun for 300 days a year, and the combination with the fine wine vineyards and the world-renown local cuisine makes it one of the most attractive spots to visit.
Add all of this to a brew of beautiful small roads and you get a perfect location for bike riding.Our trip starts and ends at the airport in Marseille or Nice. For seven days we’ll get to known Provence’s central spots, visit the medieval mountain town of Luberon, climb the scary Mont Ventoux, ride in the lavender fields, visit the famous Verdon Gorge (known as Europe’s “Grand Canyon”), ride along the shore in the French Riviera, eat well, sleep well, visit vineyards and understand why artists such as Matisse, Picasso, Van Gogh, Cezanne and others chose Provence as their source of inspiration.
